Bag O' Crab - West Modesto

Ahhhh...the smell of crabs and shrimp permeate It may seem that it is expensive but a $54.00 bag of a whole crab, shrimp, corn and potatoes on a sauce of your choice is a bargain. It satisfies 2 people and is absolutely delicious. You will be able eat caveman style and there will be a mess at the end. How perfect! Oh, and put your phones away or be sad that it went swimming in sauce.

I loveeee this place. The only thing wish they open

I wouldn’t have had a problem with my visit until it was time to leave. The manager on the shift should have came out to our table and mentioned they were going to charge us gratuity for a friend stopping by while we were waiting for our tab and boxes. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. as well as charging us for a refill. Stating her manager told her to charge us. “Kanhchala” was very RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL quite SNOBBING about me asking for my 8 cents. Saying I DESPERATELY need my change back. KEEP in mind she didn’t ask if I wanted my change back. She just thought she could keep it. Proper server etiquette you ALWAYS ask if they want their change back no matter HOW much the amount it. That is considered STEALING. Am I allowed to go into their tip jar and take what I think we should have gotten back. NO. Very wrong of her and Bag o Crab needs to do a better job of hiring people who can deal with situations in a proper manner. Because she walked away from the situation with an attitude and rolling her eyes. SHE did not deserve the gratuity tip because she gave very poor service. Kanhchala had a different employee go to her purse and take out the 8 cents because kanhchala claimed she didn’t have any change. The girl had long hair, glasses with a white sweater on. She was also laughing about the situation. That shows VERY POOR waitressing skills and that falls back on the managers as well. Bag O Crab do better. Here’s a picture of our waitress.

The food and service were so good that I forgot to get a good picture before digging in. The robot server was cool too.

Went for lunch. Food was awesome, recommend for lunch anytime!
