Captain D's - West Monroe

It's been a while since my last visit, but they truly delivered! I ordered the Spicy Catfish with a side of shrimp, green beans, fries, and instead of hush puppies, I opted for a roll along with a large sweet tea with light ice. LET ME TELL YOU, IT WAS DELICIOUS! A big shoutout to Captain D's in West Monroe!

I ordered the crispy fish tenders and was quite disappointed. When I opened the box after my purchase, I was taken aback by the tiny portion of food. I don’t intend to come back anytime soon.

I visited last Sunday evening and I regret not getting her name, but the woman working the drive-thru was incredibly sweet and patient! I was really impressed. It's rare to find that kind of service nowadays!

My wife ordered the country style fish dinner in Jackson, Mississippi and in Monroe, Louisiana, and both time the fish was different than it used to be. She likes the old way that it was cooked better than this way. I ordered the batter fried and loved it both times. We used to eat at ours in Lawton, Oklahoma, but it closed several years ago. Every time we go down to Mississippi we eat at the I-55 location and then the Thomas Road location in Monroe. Very good service at BOTH locations. Very friendly and customer service oriented.
