Peking House - West Orange

This was my first visit, and I was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious and fresh, though it could have used a bit more sauce; I'll make sure to request extra next time. The restaurant is clean and bright, and the service is friendly—it's clear that they take pride in their work. I'll definitely be coming back!

I've been a loyal customer of Peeking for over 30 years and never had any issues until now. I ordered shrimp egg foo young a few weeks ago and thought I had a stomach virus that lasted a whole week. Once I recovered, I decided to give it another try but ate less this time. My grandson loves the rice with gravy and unfortunately, after eating it, he was the first to experience severe stomach pain and diarrhea. About 20 minutes later, it hit me too. When I called the restaurant to inform them, the staff suggested my symptoms could be from breakfast. However, I hadn't eaten breakfast that day. That's two strikes, and I'm done! There won't be a third visit. Proceed with caution if you choose to eat here, and steer clear of the gravy.

The Chinese food here is quite good. However, the customer service can vary, as is often the case with many places. Additionally, this restaurant only accepts cash, unless you're using a specific payment option.

First visit. This was some of the best take away we've had. We ordered 7 different dishes as well as appetizers. All were fantastic.

Large lunch specials and good ingredients, flavor is nice, and no problems ordering. Will order again
