The Lord is the new owner Alex. Alex, his wife and business partners were so friendly and even offered my children a few of the new articles that will meet the menu. Nutella Pizza and veggie pizza were both a hit. Thank you for your hospitality. We're coming back!
This place used to be great. A pizza with toppings and garlic bread ordered to take off. Easy. Just to come and find out that they accidentally gave away our pizza. They said they could make a new one, but it will take some time as they were busy tonight. Okay, ask if we could get new garlic bread? ll be cold and mushy now. Dude doesn't have the authority to make bread? Okay? 30 minutes later, the new pizza is ready, simply, not one of the beats we ordered. Back to the square. We got pizza trial number three. The one star is to finally get new garlic bread after being beaten.
The pizza was actually good (Mediterranean), but the reason I give 3 stars is the Detroit pizza I ordered. I was pretty excited to see a Detroit style near me! Online does not say much about size. When I got it and opened it, it was a 4square Detroit pizza. 4 squares for $14.99? A expensive pizza. Really expensive. To give you a reference, Detroit Eats in Boynton, her 4 square starts at $8. Your 8 place is $16. Amici sells a place for $3,75 per piece! Another thing is a Detroit should be buttery and airy, with a golden sharp cheese crust all around. There was not enough air in the crust that leads to only bread and lack of taste. This is the reason for my 3 stars. The other pizza was good, a bit more taste in the crust and it would have been perfect.
We accidentally drove home at one night. We actually wanted to meet the Panera after a long day, but it was closed, but we found this place that burst on a Sunday night. We were immediately greeted and sitting and ordered a large pizza with Roma tomatoes and Arugula and the pizza was fantastic! The pizza was boiled exactly right and the crust was not heavy as some pizzas can be, so we ate this thing until the last bite. We really enjoyed our experience here and would not stick to it if you crossed this area again!
I am taken back with the food quality and service. I ordered the wild mushroom truffle speciality pizza and it was out of this world. The flavors were so robust, there was a party in my mouth. My girlfriend praises on how NY and NJ pizza is the best but she has been a customer of Amici for years and she will not have pizza from no where else. The wings were crispy and flavorful. I had the opportunity to speak with Tom and he extended his knowledge of food and explained on how using good quality ingredients is the secret to great tasting foods. He is from Brooklyn and is will be presenting a new culinary style menu. This is has been our spot and will continue to be.
