Leila - West Palm Beach

Delicious as always! One of our favorites in West Palm!

Had a very pleasant dinner with another couple at Leila’s. It is a small cozy venue and the food was excellent. Wife and I shared the mixed kabobs with beef, lamb, chicken and shrimp and they were tender and very tasty. My wife fell in love with the baclava which was not overly sweet. We shall return.

Wonderful food, very attentive staff, and lovely ambiance.

The apps were very good. The baba ganoush may be the best I 've ever had. The cauliflower was also excellent. The mains were a bit disappointing in that they were overcooked. Medium-rare rack-of-lamb was well done. The lamb kofta was lacking in juiciness. I 'm quite sure, having interacted with the owner about things other than the menu, he would have made the situation right, but when asked how our dinner was, we all auto-responded with, Very good. The bottom line is this. We will go back. Overcooking can be corrected only if pointed out, so shame on us for not doing so.
