Pon-di-river - West Palm Beach

Really great food from an awesome guy. His truck is legit. He saw me outside the gas station he parks next to and asked if I wanted to try. It was so good I bought some.

Found this food truck parked at a gas station and decided to give it a try. I had no expectations going in and boy was I impressed! I've never had Jamaican bbq before to be able to accurately compare it but the flavors and smokiness was all there! You can tell the meat was slowly smoked and it was so tender and moist. Not one dry piece of meat in this plate! They also had fun bbq flavors and I loved the tanginess of them all and uniqueness (I think the one I got was guava infused) . The mac-n-cheese was by far my favorite! It was cheesy, smoky, and spicy.... I would recommend ordering this side Where I thought the dish lacked a bit was the rice and beans. They did not have much flavor which I was disappointed by. I wish I would have gotten more of the mac-n-cheese instead. The corn bread was average. Also, the food serving was not as abundant as I hoped for a $15 meal at a food truck. Nonetheless, the service was good and the food truck owner was friendly and even offered samples. Overall, I would recommend checking this food truck out and if I could I would give it a 4.5/5!

Best food truck around !! Reasonable prices for amazing food !!! I work by the Publix across the gas station it's located at and it's always a pleasure to have their food for lunch . My coworkers think so too!

Food truck in the Palm Beach area. We wanted Jamaican food and so glad we found Maurice. Food was amazing and his service was matched. Definitely stop by....even if you have to find him.

YUMMY!! Went to a local brewery tonight and Pon Di River was outside! I ordered a j pork sandwich with mac n cheese. The mac n cheese was absolutely to die for. It was no box mac n cheese, it was fresh and homemade. I think it was also made with pepper jack cheese. My sandwich was delicious and big. It comes on a pretzel bun which was nice! I love spice so I could've handled something extremely spicy but I didn't think it was spicy at all! The man on the truck was extremely nice and personable! Loved it.
