The food is always late, and the staff gets upset when you expect it to be ready when ordering over the phone. The restaurant smells bad. The service, takeout, dinner, and atmosphere are all rated as a 1 out of 5. Price per person is $30-50. The only recommended dish is the fried goat.
A friend recommended prosperity. It’s seems to be a local favorite for haitian people in the area. We ordered 45 min ahead of time knowing there can be a wait. We were in and out in a few minutes and also grabbed some confiture chadek! Sooo good. Taste like home!! They had other goodies like tablet, kremas and other haitian specialty goods We ordered the griot and tasso kabrit with plaintains. Delicious. Flavorful! Quaint takeout counter service with haitian staples like legume, lalo, pwason fri and breakfast lunch and dinner options.
The young Haitian female cashier is very rude. They ignore you and prioritize Haitian customers over others. However, the food is delicious and worth the wait of 15 to 30 minutes after preordering. This restaurant is recommended for takeout dinner with a price range of $30-50 per person. The atmosphere and service may not be the best, but the fried pork is highly recommended.
The food is amazing! I recommend ordering ahead to avoid any wait, but the service is still quick. The take-out service is top-notch, with a rating of 5 for the food and 4 for the service and atmosphere.
