The Hill Thai - WEST PENNANT HILLS

Food generally ok but nothing to write home about. In my opinion the vegetables are too coarsely cut - probably to save time. Not inclined to go back. Not exactly packed out at dinner time.

Having driven by this restaurant many times (we had to, you literally can't stop, parking is out the back), we finally tried it based on friends recommendations. The signature dishes are amazing, the "run of the mill" Thai selections are just that but did I mention the signature dishes, particularly the 'Banana Flower Salad' and the Betal Leaf Prawns and Betal Leaf Barramundi which are spectacular and well worth dining in for although they are available as take away. Gluten Free: Being Thai most dishes if they aren't already Gluten Free can be made GF and the staff are well trained and happy to discuss.

Wonderful service and staff who treat you like family. We absolutely love this place and have eaten here regularly for years. Every meal is superb and the flavours are amazing - we wouldn't consider eating at any other Thai. Never disappointed!

First time trying this restaurant (take away). Food is certainly well presented and cooked differently to other Thai restaurants. Left us with a positive impression and definitely will order again. Oh please try the beef Thai salad. Grilled beef is spectacular with flavours bursting in your mouth :)

Had a lovely Thai meal with the family as takeaway from the Hill Thai. The food was ready on time, with friendly waitresses there to give you your food quickly. It was wrapped really well to avoid the delicious sauces spilling, and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend the Beef Massaman!
