Beer Wall - West Reading

My husband and I went on a date night to this restaurant, which we used to love but hadn't visited since last winter. Unfortunately, our recent experience was extremely disappointing. Several beer selections were unavailable, and the food was subpar. My chicken and waffles were cold and overcooked, while my husband's burger was small and lacking in toppings. The service was also lacking, as we never received a water refill and the waiter neglected to check on us. Despite seeing the staff attending to other tables, we were consistently overlooked. Additionally, the loud music made conversation difficult, and when we asked for it to be turned down, it was only briefly adjusted before being raised back up at the request of other patrons. Overall, the atmosphere and service have changed for the worse, and for the price we paid, it was a disappointing experience. I reached out to the restaurant through Facebook with these concerns but never received a response. I will not be returning to this establishment.

I decided to visit this restaurant after reading reviews on Yelp and looking at the menu. However, upon arriving, I found that the entrance was crowded with four guys, making it difficult for me to enter. It was not a good sign that the staff did not ask them to move when I politely requested to pass through. Although the beer selection looked promising, many items advertised on the website and Yelp were not available, including the sous vide fillets and codfish fish and chips. Instead, the menu mainly consisted of handheld burgers and specialty tacos. This was not what I had expected, and I was not willing to wait for additional options. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience and do not plan on returning.

The restaurant has fantastic food and excellent service, and is conveniently located. There is off-street parking available, a wide selection of beers, and a full menu of mixed drinks to choose from.

My friends and I stopped in to celebrate a birthday, we got food and drinks and were impressed. A bit on the pricier side, but really anywhere you go is. Service was good even though cocktails and food did take awhile, but I would expect that from a small place like this. The game room upstairs was unique and fun. Overall we were very happy and will be coming back in the future.

Beer selection is pretty outstanding, as you would expect. Food is well above par and the staff is well versed in the beer and the menu. Can get a little tight in there when it's busy, and some people just don't seem to have the courtesy to get out of the way and just stand there trying to figure out what to pour. Definitely will be back.
