Very friendly and welcoming. 3 good ales available (plus a whole series of other drinks! . poor jane had a bit of a stubborn one day, so I can only hope that tomorrow is a better day. that said the service was cared for with a smile and good humor. good value

If you are going to stay anywhere stay here. Spotlessly clean, so friendly, cannot do enough. They cater for dietary requirements, beds so comfy, shower great. Wonderful price, if I could give them 6 stars I would. Cannot recommend enough

Found the Lion locally to our campsite and from the moment we called to book, they couldn't do enough to help us. Attentive and friendly when we arrived, helpful with recommendations, regularly topping us up, offering board games for the kids and a great classic pub menu. All the meals were freshly home cooked, well prepared and great value. To top it off, they helped get back to our campsite when a taxi wasn't an option. We had a great family night out thanks Jane Damon!

Booked for lunch as close to our visit to sea the seals at horsey gap. Extensive menu. Food to die for. Will most definitely come back to sample more from the menu. Jane (staff member) is the most helpful, friendly, happy, smiley person.

Fantastic dog friendly pub. The food is very good, generous portions reasonably priced. Jane and Damon were very welcoming. We will definitely return. Thank you
