After finally securing a table, we found ourselves crowded at a table that was too small for our group. The service was efficient, but it was difficult to hear our dining companion due to excessive noise levels. The food did not meet the expected standards, especially considering the price. Additionally, the temperature of the dishes was disappointing as they were not as hot as anticipated.
I usually enjoy dining at Frankie and Benny's, but my recent experience was not the best. When I tried to make a reservation, the website said they were fully booked, but I was able to get a table through OpenTable. When I arrived, the restaurant was only 70% full. My biggest complaint was that my Calzone pizza was undercooked, with the cheese still looking unmelty. I wasn't even asked how my meal was, which is unusual for this restaurant. Thankfully, I was able to eat the pizza cold since the cheese and meat were still edible.
We had made a reservation for 4:30 p.m. using this app but arrived early at 4:20 p.m. We were informed that our table was not ready and would be another 20 minutes, which was fine with us. However, after waiting for 45 minutes and spending £40 on soft drinks, we still did not have a table. It turned out that our reservation had been overlooked and we would have to wait even longer, despite seeing other parties being seated. As a result, we decided to go to a Chinese restaurant instead.
Well, we booked our table for through this app. We arrived at were told that our table wasn't yet ready and it'd be minutes..no problem!. and in soft drinks later and we still didn't have a table... It turns out that the booking had been overlooked and we'd have to wait even longer despite other parties being shown to their tables.... So we had Chinese instead...
It's like walking into a time warpI'm pretty sure nothing has moved in a few decades.
