Ambience: 4/5 - the deck is creaky and scares the hell out of me every time I sit on it, but the view is beautiful.__Food - Depends what you get.

I give the place one star for the view, but everything is horrendous From the service to the food to the decor and the bathroom.

The view from the patio is breathtaking. There is a gentle calmness in the surroundings disturbed only by the sound of hull or squawking of the gulls. I ordered BC salmon burger and you can tell that the burger is great when you do not need to add any condiments. It was cooked to perfection and the taste stayed with me for hours. Peter, our server, a nice and gentle fellow was a bit overwhelmed apparently by the comedy show going on on the patio but he held his nerve and made the evening memorable. My friend ordered a pizza (I don't remember which one) but he was quite happy with it. He offered me a bite but I was in no mood to interfere with the flavour of the salmon burger in my mouth. Can't comment on the wine selection cuz I was not in a mood to drink that day. Maybe next time.

Bay Moorings Bar Grill is known for beautiful waterfront views and a busy outdoor patio in the summer. Recently taken over by a new chef owner who was born in Italy, you are able to taste some creative pizzas as well as the classic bar grill dishes with an Italian twist. The Tuesday special with all pizzas at only $12 sounds like a decent deal.
