Dont come here. Bad food, and bad service. My friend and I came here and we were shocked when we tipped the waitress 15% and she said and I quote thats all? in an extremely rude tone. Not impressed, and never coming back.
Excellent service nice decor comfortable atmosphere. Amazing menu the variety and amazing selection in all categories is by far above your typical thai restaurant. Not the standard basic menu by any measure. The chef pulls it off by providing the fresh made to order style of food you expect to have at a thai restaurant even with the challenge of providing so many yummy choices.
We stopped in for lunch at Rose Thai thinking that we would love to grab a quick bit to eat after walking through the harmony arts festival. After ordering an appie and entree (two dishes total) we waited and then waited some more. The wait staff were doing there best but at the 45 mark when our appie had yet to arrive we started asking questions. The table next to us seemed to be getting food but there seemed to be nothing we could do to get ours. At one hour mark our appie came (lettuce wrap) and then we waited another 30 minutes to get our entree (a curry). The lettuce wraps were quite good but the curry was average. The wait staff kept saying the kitchen was run off its feet there was only one kitchen staff on. But as we were leaving the restaurant the chef came out for hugs and conversation with with the table next to us (the ones that had food arrive none stop the whole time we were waiting). Clearly these were VIPs and clearly our business wasn 't wanted or valued. We won 't be back.
Me and my girl friend went there for her birthday because she love Thai food. we arrived there at 6 pm with another party of 3 people in front of us. So we wait at the door for the server to seat that party first. After that party settled, the server came back to me and asked me how many people in my party, I told her just 2 people. She took 2 menus and start walking, we then followed her to take us to our table. But what she did was she actually took the menu to the party of 3, me and my girl friend then walk back to the front door to wait for her to take us to our table again. She came back to us second time after she dropped off the menus and ask the same question again how many people in your party? , and she walk away with 1 menu this time. We followed her 3 times and finally we got our table in 5 minutes time. The restaurant only have 5 customers, a table of 3 and us. 2 tables order food at the same times, the server took our order and the manger took the other table 's order. We have to wait 1 hour for our food, but at the same time the other table already finished their meal and ready to paid their bill. I don 't mind to wait 1 hour for my food if the restaurant was busy, but I was wonder if the cook is even a professional cook? can 't even cook 5 people 's meal? Why the other table got their food in least then 10 minutes and we have to wait for 1 hour? we only ordered 1 appetizer combo and 1 Pad Thai. Did we order something that the cook s don 't know how to cook? I did paid my bill before walked out that restaurant without even eat their food. And the manager didn 't even care why we walked out. This is the first time I complain a restaurant in 40 years.
