The four of we old foodies had dinner at The Truffle House

This is a great little café in Dundarave West Vancouver. The congestion within the café adds to the ambiance of dining here.Service is attentive and charming, however there is considerable time wait for the meal, but the overall product produced is highly satisfactory. I thought I would never enjoy Swiss rosti again but here it is, just to be enjoyed before or after that vigorous walk on the seawall.

My husband and I and another couple had dinner at The Truffle House one Saturday night. Although we all live on the North Shore, three of our party had never been to The Truffle House and I had only been there for lunch. We all were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed the meal. As appetizers we had two French Onion Soups, the Parmesan Truffle Fries and the Charcuterie Platter. For the mains we opted for the Scallop and Prawn Risotto, the Truffle Linguini, the Lamb Loin and the Beef Tenderloin. For dessert we shared the Tarte Tatin and the Creme Brulee. Everything that we ordered was excellent and for the quality very reasonably priced. We also found the wine list to be extremely well considered and varied. The service was excellent. All and all a wonderful evening. We will definitely return.

Ate brunch here two weekends in a row it was that good. Owner was lovely felt like we were a guest in her home.Next weekend the owner was not there but rest assured she obviously has hand picked her staff because they were wonderful.Can hardly wait to visit for dinner.

Touring west Vancouver we made this our first Saturday morning stop and my wife and myself were very impressed with the food. My truffle mushroom Benny was excellent, but my wife's truffle crepe was exceptional. Both were perfectly prepared and the crepe was one of the best breakfast dishes either of us have had anywhere. Everything was scratch made. We had to stop ourselves from ordering another two plates after we finished. Service was solid, location was clean, and we were seated in the back section outdoors which we enjoyed. Waters were refilled constantly, and the price points were very fair for the food we recieved. I would have no issue eating here daily if I lived nearby and highly recommend this establishment. Worth going out of your way for. Some pictures posted above.
