For consistency in service (little touches like free mini-appys, and frozen grapes après meal, attentiveness), occasionally a parking spot right in the lot,

Spicy bento box = my absolute favorite!!! Not to mention the service is top notch! Can't help myself from going back for more!

It is fine. But if you are looking for a good sushi place to eat, this is not the place for you.

YANAKI is a very good though tiny Japanese restaurant in the heart of Ambleside West Vancouver. We just ordered from there last night. They have all the usual Japanese dishes and some delicious Specials. We usually get to go and it's been our go to place for years. It's consistently good. And the fact that it's been in West Van. for so long and is always busy is a good indication that many of us who have lived in the community keep coming back. Domo Arigato Gozimashita. : ))"
