Beartooth Barbecue - West Yellowstone

Our server had a great sense of humor, and even though the restaurant was packed, she provided us with excellent service. The food was fantastic! The potato salad had a unique twist compared to what you’d typically find in the South, which some might really enjoy. I recommend choosing the sliced brisket over the chopped, as the chopped brisket had a bit more fat than I preferred. The barbecue sauce was a tasty brown hue and delicious. If you’re in West Yellowstone, you definitely should give this place a try!

BBQ is an art that not many places can master, but I am thrilled to say that Beartooth hits all the right notes. A true measure of a great BBQ joint is how they handle the simplest side dishes, like coleslaw. Their slaw is perfectly seasoned and spot on. The pork had a nice smokiness and wasn’t dry at all. The cheeses were fantastic, boasting a subtle smoked flavor. The BBQ chips are excellent, but I’d recommend caution for younger children as they may find the spice a bit intense. The BBQ sauce is a thick, sweet heat, just the way we enjoy it. Overall, this is one of the best BBQ spots I've visited in a while. I just wish it were closer to home so I could enjoy it more often.

We arrived 15 minutes before closing, and the staff was friendly enough to welcome us and serve our meal. We ordered the Brisket Sandwich, BBQ Chips, Bad Dog, and Cowboy Caviar. The food was fantastic! The service was excellent as well! After we finished, they even took the time to recommend other nearby farms to help others with their food needs.

I cleaned the woman out of the rain of the Old Believers to get her birthday dinner before we return to the campsite. That was a surprise. We ordered the complete shelf. It comes with a dry rub and two sides with sauce on the side. Very Texas style. It was very tasty and a pleasant surprise and we highly recommended it. PS the dogs loved the remains

This place is SO GOOD! We walked in and they said about 5-10 minute wait. They got us in and quickly were seating other people. Our food took maybe 10 minutes and it was all delicious. Had the chopped brisket, green chili creamed corn, and potato salad. My boyfriend had the sliced brisket, baked beans and potato salad. My mom had the chopped brisket, baked beans, and cowboy caviar. Only beers on the menu for only $5 a draft!!
