I tried the beef soup with rice noodles, and it had a nice kick, which I really enjoyed. For appetizers, I had a spring roll and shrimp salad, and they were both decent. By the way, they now accept credit cards!
The tiniest restaurants often have the best food! I dined there last night and absolutely loved it. The prices are reasonable, especially in comparison to other places. I highly recommend giving it a try!
In Flushing and Elmhurst, I typically enjoy Vietnamese cuisine, so it's great to find something similar here in East Meadow. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the prices are quite reasonable (most dishes are around $12). I opted for a combination meal that featured grilled pork chop and spring rolls served over angel hair noodles, which were cut into squares and had a unique presentation. It also included fresh salad ingredients and rice papers that you can steam, allowing you to make your own spring and summer rolls. I combined everything together, wrapping the spring roll and pork chop in salad and noodles, all encased in rice paper with carrots and other vegetables. It’s more straightforward than it sounds, but definitely a hands-on eating experience. I plan to return on the next chilly day to try one of the hot soups I saw others enjoying.
