Luis' Plaice - Westcliff-on-Sea

This is a wonderful little fish and chip shop that deserves high praise, and the staff are very friendly. It's refreshing to see some unique items on the menu that you don't typically find at other chip shops, like their broken halloumi. I suggested to the owner that they consider expanding the menu to include more vegetarian and vegan options, as that market is growing. However, I've never been disappointed with my visits. The chips are outstanding—truly authentic chip shop chips!

It is under new management now and eating taste amazing, the place looks clean and well maintained. the new owners take the business really seriously and make it a successful business against its competitors in the environment. I have spoken to the new owners and they have a wonderful insight into how to make it more successful as soon as it becomes popular. it requires support of the community to visit the place and get its wins so they can announce new special menus they have in mine. Although, the specialties they have at the moment, like freshly fed chicken and pork, freshly peeled and cooked to order fish, I think is one of the best selling points of this fishable and restaurant. I recommend this place, it even has vegetarian options, so no one can be omitted.

We have been enjoying fish and chips since the start of the lockdown, and we discovered this gem on our way home from our daily bike rides. What a fantastic find! The fish was freshly fried, and the portions were enormous. As first-time customers, we were given an extra large piece of cod with our takeaway order—there was more than enough food for two! All of this came at such a reasonable price. I highly recommend it!
