Rancher's Roost Cafe - Westcliffe

I recently visited and was disappointed with the experience. The place has really declined. I went there to bowl and have pizza, but they no longer serve pizza. We let the kids play a few games, but several of them were out of order. They've added more pool tables and reduced the number of games available.

The service has gotten pretty bad here. After eating here for 4 years, today the waitress was NOT happy to be here at all. Never smiled, couldn’t answer any of my questions about the food. Outwardly showed she was not interested in the customers, rolled her eyes several times. Terrible body language. In this day and age, and especially in a town where jobs are not very plentiful, you don’t need to have employees who don’t understand, nor have any interest in service.

The restaurant offers a great variety of food and drinks, including a selection of alcoholic beverages.

Nice quiet late lunch. I LOVE their Ruben sandwich!! Never soggy!! Great flavor! I'm not a fan of swiss cheese so I always do any other white cheese. Anything but swiss! ?

Have been here many times with no complaints, until today. We went in with some family from out of town. We were super excited to show them our favorite local restaurant. Only to be completely embarrassed by the service we received simply because a portion of our party were gay. We were the first table seating when they opened. But waited over an hour for our food, never checked on to see if we needed anything, half of the food was cold. Pretty disappointed and not sure we will be back.
