Knus Karoo Kombuis - Western Cape

Good location with potential, service is horrible though. Arrived at restaurant, had to walk around and look for someone to serve us. Service was slow, owner and waiters seemed more interested in drinking and smoking, then to clear tables. However the food is fantastic, the burger we had, was delicious and you can’t find beter in the Karoo. Not the best lunch destination, would recommend Rou Karoo as a Weekend sit down when you have all the time in the world.

What a nice lovely place waffles was delicious, service was good waiter very friendly and professional. Will go back to test some more food.

A very nice little restaurant just of the main road through town. The Vetkoeks were excellent as were the belgian waffles and potato skins. The steaks were good and well prepared. Service was great and the prices were very reasonable. If there was a negative it was that with “Karoo” in the name we really expected some lamb options.

Nothing fancy just good quick bites. Mostly sweet or savory pancakes or waffles. The waitress is an absoluut gem.
