Mooiplaas Wine Estate And Private Nature Reserve

Oh my word what a little hidden gem this wine farm turned out to be! Driving down the 2.5km gravel road we were not sure that the destination would be worth the trip but it so definitely was. The wine was absolutely delicious and there is a calm relaxed atmosphere in a sea of green. The staff are amongst the most warm and inviting I've encountered. This is not a commercialized money drain… It's basic great wine with a snack platter. I would highly recommend a visit

The staff at Mooiplaas is very friendly and helpful, I celebrated my birthday with close friends and family. I decided to have a picnic in winter and have no regrets. Everything was perfect. This was my second visit and I highly recommend this place. It's even better in summer

Great 6km well marked hiking trail where the farm owners have a nature conservation conscience. The post hike cheese platter ample served with jams which can be purchased also highly appreciated by our African bees. Makes for a wonderful morning out. Wine tasting is zero when purchasing some of the interesting wines.
