Great Wall Chinese - Western Springs

I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice to go in a large size and it was plenty for 2-3 people! It was delicious!!! I will definitely be ordering it more often in the future. I was happily surprised by the quality. The service was for takeout, and it was quick and efficient. This meal was for dinner and was priced at $1-10 per person. I would give the food a 5 rating, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 3. I highly recommend trying the Fried Rice dish.

I work in rural Illinois and my husband and I have been ordering from this restaurant for years. I recently drove to pick up takeout dinner for us, with my husband ordering pepper steak and myself ordering beef and mushrooms with a side of fried rice. Unfortunately, I received beef fried rice instead. Sadly, at 2am both my husband and I fell ill and had to call in sick to work. What was supposed to be a $43.00 bill ended up costing us $900 due to missed work. It's now Saturday and we are still at home feeling unwell. We will never order from this place again. The orange chicken is fire. Best in the area. The beef with broccoli is good too (although I do like a local competitor's beef with broccoli better). Great Wall has good, consistent Chinese food. Meal type: Dinner Recommended dishes: Orange Chicken
