The Italian House On Park - Westfield

We've eaten here several times. Below are the pros and cons of our recent visit: Pros: Service was great! From our server to the hostess to the valet, excellent. Atmosphere is lovely, especially outside on a nice evening. The burrata was delicious. Kudos to the drinks and drink selection. The Lobster Bucatini was good. Cons: Sadly, the spaghetti and meatballs was disappointing. The meatballs had no flavor other than beef, and the same with the sauce. Our asparagus were overcooked and not all were whole pieces. The tomatoes on the burrata salad were super thin and flavorless. Hoping the food quality is better on our next visit as it has been in the past!

We ate on patio and despite the 90+ degree temps we're not too warm. Great service. High quality food. I had the special: swordfish with asparagus and risotto which was delicious. My wife had the lobster diavalo which had mild heat and good flavor. Would go back.

It 's few and far-between that there is a restaurant, let alone an Italian one that is top-notch through and through. The food is delicious!! The ambiance includes dining-in, a quaint bar, a patio that is always in demand and to the back of the patio (For adults only , there is a previous garage area that is open to the outdoors and contains it 's own bar. They offer a valet service and MOST of all, the BEST STAFF. Most of the waiters and waitresses have been at the restaurant for years. They are polite, well-knowledgeable and they somehow check in with you just as you are Just thinking about something you need. Their pricing is very reasonable. It is SO nice that there are still restaurants available like this!!!!:

Another great meal at The Italian House. We've been before, but brought friends for a first time visit. My only critique, if you can call it that, was the lack of bread/olive before dinner. Typically it's a staple at Italian restaurants. Otherwise, the service was on point, our salads and soups first course were great, and our entrees were nicely prepared and delicious. So good, not a doggy bag in sight. We're certain to return when the craving for great Italian food returns.

Our visit was quite enjoyable our server was great, the food was superb. We had a party of7 and were place in an upstairs room to ourselves. That was perfect for our party, we can be quite animated. The decor/lighting needs addressed upstairs, but everything else was great.
