They were able to leave out the egg from the grilled mushroom, grilled onion, and cheese sandwich for me since I don't eat egg. This was served on the herb baguette and it was pretty good. The baguette is more French style than Vietnamese. The black sesame bread was flavorful without adding any toppings. We also tried the artisan bread which was similar in texture to sourdough. It came to $14 for two medium size baguettes and one sandwich. The prices are high compared to the other sandwich options in the area; but this bakery is offering a different style of bread so it's not a like comparison.
Had to write a review because this place doesn't have as much recognition as they deserve! Super delicious food, super friendly services. The bread is so unique compared to other viet sandwiches places.
Excellent coffee. Small portion but made up with good quality. I usually requested stronger than normal with crystal boba added. Tried the bulgogi cheese baguette for the first time for breakfast. It didn't disappoint. Well marinated beef with melted cheese all in a crunching fresh baked slim baguette top with plenty of greens. Yummy. Clean and modern decor. Friendly service. Open early. Come and join when I'm in town.
Nice and clean bakery but the food isn't good. I got several banh mi and it was so dried. This place can be better.
Sun Moon Bakery (aka Epic Baguette) is run by and egomaniac, obscured by delusions of grandeur; forcing her ridiculous business concept upon her paying customers. Devoid of reality, as though she's running a five star Michelin restaurant. With egregious customer service skills backed by zero logic, to boot. If a customer doesn't want chili for the sake of their child, simply leave it off. How hard is that? Instead, just proceed to put the chili in the sandwich as a wonderful surprise to the youngling; without explanation, of course. It's no detriment nor sacrilegious to your (gift-to-mankind-of-a dish) stick baguette offering to leave the chili off. Think about it, and hopefully your business will succeed. BTW- the food and coffee here is mediocre, at best. Best wishes...
