Had the Asada, chorizo, lengua and the Cabeza tacos - all good! We also ordered the whole meat asada burrito for the first time. All I can say is wowza!!! Eating here tasted great and the prices are very easy on the wallet. For all taco Tuesday people out there they have taco for $1.29!!!
I have to say these tacos are one of the best in town. I'm here several times. Her flesh is juicy and tender and the tortillas are beautiful and soft. My husband always goes after a burrito and he loves it. Besides the food, their service is great, they are very attentive and always give you what you want. I just wish they kept the tables clean when people get ready to eat so the next customers can have a clean table. I know they could be busy, but it would only take a second, but for the most part they are clean. Overall, I really love this place.
Newly modeled for an open atmosphere after 30 years purely authentic mexican eat Greatest steak tacos I ever had everyone.
I like Menudo, but I suppose it's a hard sale to many people. It consists mainly of sponge, rubbery, chewing pieces of honeycomb strip (stomach lining from a cow), and that is before you add the obligatory Gooey and Schleim Pata (Pig foot) to the bowl. Preparing Menudo from the blank solves a gagreflex or worse from those who are unfamiliar with the stem of the stomach gall. None of this will stop me from the evangelizing Menudo when it is done properly as it is in Tacos El Rancho in Westminster. Eating good menudo is like eating life itself it gets me going on weekend morning, regardless of how many drinks I sunk the night before; the sensation of Menudo brings me gently from a nausea, head splitter, over Stupor hung and convinces me that today is the day I reach great things and become a great man. The magic is not only with the simple broth, which, like red pozole, is only red Chile, epazote (like oregano, but more stinginging and embarrassing), onion and garlic. Pozole does not have the same effect on me as a Menudo, so I have concluded that it must definitely be the organ meat that makes the Menudo special. The evil breasts of the cow's stomach, which were weak and slowly shimmered in the mentioned broth until they become tender enough to chew, will take over the aromas of the surrounding broth as a sponge. There is something about the soft mouth and translucent taste of this meat combined with the Chiles and spices that kills cats dead. During my early morning visit to Tacos El Rancho, her menu in a hypnotic trance that I did not stop sprinking the broth in my mouth. It housed a huge pigtrotter in the middle of the bowl, and the lava like red broth was medicine. Every bite brought me closer to the light. I might have had finer dishes from Menudo, but I never stopped writing about them like these.
Great food and friendly staff. Highly recommend. My new go to place for taqueria!
