Madisons New York Grill & Bar

This restaurant was very confusing. There was no mention of a special menu for the event night. The prices were much higher compared to the regular menu. The food was lukewarm and there were not many choices available. We had to call our server as we didn't see her around, and there was no water, salt, or pepper on the table. Overall, it was a very confusing experience.

I made a reservation for 9 people on a Sunday evening at 5:00 on October 21, 2018, as we were going to the Bocelli Concert at the Bell Center. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, we found out that their menu had been changed to a much more expensive one. Even though we had seen a billboard advertising a Surf and Turf special for $24 on our way there, it was not offered on our menu. The meals that night were priced at over $36, which was much higher than usual for Madison's. We ended up all ordering dishes that cost us over $40 each, along with wine and drinks. The service was slow and our orders didn't all come out at the same time or were not cooked properly. One person at our table had to send back their steak twice because it was rare instead of medium as requested. I had to eat at the same time as the person who sent back their steak because my meal was served after everyone else's and I didn't want to eat cold food. In the end, my meal and drinks cost me over $115. The Surf and Turf that was advertised on the billboard for $24 would have ended up costing over $48 for the closest combination of steak and shrimp. It was a terrible experience with poor service. I wish I had read the reviews on the website beforehand, as many others have had the same negative experience that I did.

Very expensive for what we got, the beef was lukewarm. Not a great selection for show nights.

Prices were ridiculously high given it was a game night (NBA). We were told by our waitress that they did not anticipate kids....and no kids menu officially however we can get a burger for $15.... ridiculous Will never god back

Worst experience at a restaurant. Reservation was made for 6 pm. When we arrived they had no tables and many guests waiting. Total disarray. Hostess was rude. After 30 minutes we left as there was no prospect of getting a table. If a restaurant is going to accept reservations it should ensure that they honour the reservations. This restaurant simply didn’t care. Avoid!!
