La Sobremesa - Westmount

The food was a bit overpriced for what it offered, and it wasn't very impressive. They only had small dishes for tasting and appetizers instead of full meals. It feels more like a venue for wine enthusiasts looking for light bites.

We visited this restaurant for the second time since their grand opening, which had been quite a large event. Unfortunately, we encountered some stress among the staff that made the experience a bit overwhelming for us. Additionally, one of the dishes contained pork, which was not mentioned on the menu. Although an employee offered us a complimentary dish, we later discovered that it was included in our bill. Overall, there were some good aspects to our experience, but given the prices they charge for food and service, there is still a lot of improvement needed.

The atmosphere is great, and the food and cocktails are excellent; however, the portion sizes are quite small, making it a poor value overall.

We had a terrific evening here. Starting with generous and tasty glass sangria put us in the right mood. The food was sublime. The service was attentive and excellent. Nods to our server Jo. Our teenager even loved it! Overall an excellent experience.

Good was ok. Just ok. Homemade bread was very good. Dishes were smaller than other restaurants of this type and quite a bit more expensive. Could have been more flavourful. Wine list overpriced. Service was good and ambiance quite lovely. Might have been an off night.
