We were expecting farm to table café but instead got an overpriced sandwich shop. We stopped for lunch on a weekday close to opening time. 2 sandwiches, 2 bags of chips $2.50 ea and 2 self serve bottled drinks (tea). $55.00. Total. We were given an option to tip with our meal so we did 20% (included in the $55). I generally dislike tipping at the register for exactly this reason. They brought our sandwiches to the table. That was our service unless you count making an average sandwich and inputting the bill. Of course use tap and go for credit don’t bother me with accepting my card or saying thank you. we selected a table two had crumblies on their surface. Dish bin by the door to clean up after yourself!!! Restroom was not clean, toilet paper dispenser completely empty and a nearly empty roll on the tank; thank goodness. On top of all this, the menu items were not fully prepared and therefore not available opening time!! Overall a money grab by the proprietor and the employees.
Located at the intersection of Welt St and Route 45 in Western Missouri is a small sheep creamery. The soft cheeses are light and flavorful, especially the chili cheese drizzled with honey. On tap is a refreshing pineapple cider that pairs well with the charcuterie board. It is artisan food at its finest.
This is a total GEM!! You absolutely must make a stop here. It was so good I had to come back one more time on my travels. The cheese boards are delicious and different every time. Everything they make is a feast to the eyes and belly! They have indoor and outdoor seating
