Del Frisco's Grille - Westwood

This restaurant used to be my absolute favorite hidden gem in Westwood but it seems like they have drastically fallen off. Maybe it’s just a lunch service, but I vaguely remember it being extremely better than this. I had to wait 40 minutes for my appetizer and an hour for my entrée. The restaurant was fairly empty with only two other patrons there. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt so if you intend on going here, don’t go for lunch , go when it’s dinner time to ensure that you get their best because we definitely got their worst.

We had my dad’s 70th birthday party here in the private room and it was AMAZINGGGGGGG! Stacey Jess took the best care of us and gave us the best service we could’ve possibly had. They never let our drinks get even close to empty and they had everything in front of us before we even asked. The food was amazing and I cannot wait to come back!!!!

So disappointed. Had reservations for b-day. Server was much too busy to focus on his customers. He was socializing w/co-workers, even danced instead of attending to our table. Never picked up our dishes but instead tried to cram together instead of clearing empty dishes. We had to ask him 3 times to please clear and things went down hill fast after that.His co-worker was visibly annoyed at his lack of service to our table. He clearly had his social life on his mind and seemed very unprofessional and frankly immature. We reminded the staff 3 times of the b-day. He served our coffee and forgot the dessert. After we finished our coffee he finally served dessert and never acknowledged the birthday until we brought it up again. Manager apologized for lack of candles … what??? We told him that was the least of his problems. We are patrons of the Boston Del Frisco and had great expectations. What happened Del Frisco?

Amtrak canceled all trains so what is there a person to do. Walk over to del Frisco's. Bartender was very good very personable and funny. Food was outstanding. Burger and flatbread.
