Contribuisci feedbackI had dinner here last week after not being here for over four months. The staff were, as usual, very friendly and helpful. The menu is excellent value and has a wide choice. I had the fish cakes for starter, confit duck leg for main and a red berry roulade for dessert. Excellent all round.
Evaluating a restaurant based on group dining may not provide an accurate representation. Our experience showed that the restaurant's strength may not lie in handling large groups. The service was prompt and efficient, but lacked the attention to detail required for a fine dining experience with a large party. The menu showed creativity, but fell short in terms of quality. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our overall experience decent, but not outstanding. Perhaps this restaurant shines more with smaller groups.
The Terrace is a restaurant that really gets it right. It is a lovely location within the hotel and is bright and airy and comfortable. The staff are exceptional and consistent and the restaurant manager Tony runs an excellent team and all staff are friendly and remember customers who return regularly. Tony himself always has time for a chat with customers and makes each visit a pleasure. The menu is excellent and the early bird is extremely good value. On this occasion I had the starter of Caesar Salad, main of confit of duck leg and dessert of iced lemon terrine with coffee. All food was really nice and was of good portions. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and look forward to returning.
We are frequent patrons at this restaurant and have always enjoyed their exceptional food and service. Last weekend, we tried the early bird menu which offered a great selection and generous portions. We will definitely be coming back regularly.
We made a reservation for dinner, bed, and breakfast at Clayton Whites Hotel and were pleased with our three-course evening meal. The quality of the food and service was excellent.
