I warmed up with some chili, and delicious cheese curds and when it was time to go I went to warm up my car.. 10min later I go to leave and my car had automatically locked itself! Keys in and car running! There were 3 employees there, ALL of which helped me to get back into my car... I can't thank them enough, and the food was great too. I'll definitely go back (and make sure I have a spare set of keys next
This restaurant doesn't deserve any stars. If you're in search of a classic Supper Club experience, look elsewhere. The new ownership, which took over this year, has changed the atmosphere significantly, and not for the better. While the brandy old fashioned sour, muddled with honey and made with Christian Bros. brandy (their standard option), was enjoyable, the bartender's attitude was quite strange. The menu offered a wide range of options, but unfortunately, the food was underseasoned, lacking flavor, and served at the wrong temperature.
This place has definitely lost its charm as a supper club! The bartender seemed completely out of his depth and found it amusing, which was frustrating. My friend and I came in as two couples, and after we ordered drinks, he collected money from the guys sitting next to us but then turned to us women—clearly married to those men—and asked us for payment! When we finally sat down to eat, the salad bar was disappointing, featuring brown lettuce and unappetizing side dishes. The poor waitress looked utterly overwhelmed. Not a great experience!
The hamburger, cooked to medium well, was just perfect—not dry at all, but wonderfully juicy and excellent.
Getting better than previous owners. Fish is good.
