Blackies Cafe By The Beach Whangamata

I really enjoyed the food here today and dining with the sound of the surf is fantastic. The flat whites hot chocolate and fluffies were nice. The kids loved the curly fries. My wife and I enjoyed the vege breakfasts.

Stopped in for a smoothie after a walk along the beach, such a fun and cute spot! Great access from beach with good parking. Smoothie was nice but tasted more like a watery slushy then fruity smoothie

I didn't expect any tasty food. I just thought it's easy since the location was convenient. Staffs were very kind and clear about my fussy order, the food was very tasty. Pizza was quite nice than I had expected and ice coffee wasn't pretty but I loved it. Sweet corn fritters was also nice with sourcream. Only banana milkshake was average I can say, but still tasty ! The chairs won't be comfortable but that won't be something you can expect from ocean cafe.
