Country Pride - Wheat Ridge

We waited over half an hour for our food, even though the restaurant was nearly empty, which indicated that the kitchen was slow. The quality of the food has declined since my last visit. I ordered the Texas Steer burger, which was supposed to come with sautéed onions, mushrooms, and gravy, but it only arrived with mushrooms and gravy. The salad bar is no longer available, and when I ordered a side salad with ranch dressing, I received a different dressing instead. When I inquired about the ranch, I was informed they were out. It would have been better to ask before bringing something different. Furthermore, the floors were sticky. Overall, Country Pride has significantly declined, and I likely won’t be returning.

Is it possible to give zero stars?! We tried to have lunch during our 30-minute trucking break, but after 45 minutes, we still hadn't received our food. We watched several orders sitting in the window for over ten minutes without anyone attending to them. There were very few customers in the restaurant, so it didn’t seem like the kitchen or wait staff were overwhelmed. Eventually, we just gave up and walked out. Save your time and don’t bother coming here if you want a meal!

I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Omelette, and it was delicious—not overly expensive either. I also had a large orange juice and added some Tapatío and ketchup for extra flavor. I’ll definitely be back soon, especially since I’m stuck here for a 34-hour reset.

A bit busy when I went inside, but I call that a good sign. The food was good (the club sandwich), as was the peanut butter/chocolate cake. Not much for seating when they've closed the main area, but the service was good.

I highly recommend the Philly Cheese Steak Omelette—it was delicious and very reasonably priced! I also enjoyed a large glass of orange juice, and I added Tapatío and ketchup to enhance the flavors of my meal. I can't wait to come back again soon. I'm currently here for a 34-hour reset.
