The fish sauce mixture was ok, not brown enough. Pho Tai: The broth has a beautiful smooth taste, not salty, not bland, the cattle broth and spices give it a beautiful aroma. I felt it needed a bit more noodles, but it had a good amount of beef for a big one. His good Pho everywhere. Banh Bao and Banh Mi Cha Lua: The quality of Banh Bao is fluffy and very soft, but need more filling, the pork mixture needs a bit of celery and onion for extra aroma. Banknotes Mi has this beautiful crispy bread as it should have, but the amount of cha lua was not much as 5 slices for the entire role. I still recommend this place if your Pho fan!
Finally, the chance had to try the Banh mi. Have the purchase 5 and get 1 free to go a few banh mi! Price is $5.50 $6.00 per. The bread was great, but a little was missing from the meat portion. Flavors were great. Good option if you are enjoying yourself and don't want to drive to Eden and deal with traffic and parking. I have a few orders from the chón giò and disappeared in the car. Love that they use rice paper for the wrappers. They are much larger than other places in the area. With a lot of meat. I wish they had more noodles and vegetables inside. Service was good. Very friendly. We will try again, more on the menu.
I love the food at this place I just wish they had more than one person to take orders, bring the food out, answer the phone, and really with delivery people. It's all too much for just one person to do especially when there's several tables to serve.
Love their pho broth!! And the grilled chicken bahn mi is the best in the area. They have very limited staff atm so the wait might be a little longer than usual. Please be patient with them!! I actually prefer their pho and bahn mi over Mi Lay Chay down the road, for those who have tried the latter.
So excellent! The shredded tofu, lemongrass chicken and grilled beef Vermicelli are standouts. I think this is the only restaurant in the Wheaton area that has Banh Mi Sandwiches on the menu. if you are unfamiliar with these, they are freshly baked mini baguette filled with Asian ingredients, carrots and radishes, Zilantro and Jalepeño pepper slices and your choice of meat or crushed tofu inside. My Fav is the grilled chicken. My family is very popular with fresh (unfriend) spring rolls either with shrimp or tofu. Another bonus about this restaurant is that they are open in the morning. For breakfast you can enjoy a hot bowl pho!
