Always so fulfilling and delicious. My favorites are the lobster bisque soup and chicken tortilla soup! Their selection of wines is also solid.
This review is all about the pizza. Just the pizza. Nothing but a magnificent piece of dough spun with some sort of magic layered with a sweet tomato sauce, lots of beautiful mozzarella cheese, and big ol' slices of pepperoni. I also got a slice of sausage because I was feeling extra. I have had pizza far and wide, from Italians, New Yorkers, Chicagoans, all across these 50 states and across the sea. I was looking for something in groceries but couldn't find it. I stumbled upon this beautiful pie that just came out of the oven, and I couldn't resist. It looked too good to pass up and I'm glad I didn't. It was as if somebody transported me back to New York before all of it got bougie and slices started costing $5. Finally a slice that I could fold in half without the crust breaking. A slice with a sufficient amount of cheese and not some mouse. Finally a satisfying combination of all the right ingredients coming together and even giving me a little bubble near the crust and an edible one at that! $4/slice or $7.50 for 2. It's 2022, but this was worth it. I found my home away from home.
I absolutely LOVE Whole Foods!! Honestly, everything they offer is amazing! But, they also have anything and everything you need or want. What a huge variety to choose from, love their bakery and deli section, really large organic selection. Great place to shop for groceries. Always the service is above what you would expect. Known for their fresh produce meats. Plus, a better variety of any other grocery store. A trip to the grocery store is normally a standard chore- but not only is this location always stocked, and easy to navigate, but the staffs' assistance and drive to help is unparalleled. This location is very clean, nice and provide great customer service! One of the best things about shopping here. Thank you for continuing to provide awesome customer service. Satisfied Customer for life.
Unfriendly and indifferent manager. This may seem petty, but rubbed me the wrong way. When checking out I was purchasing beer. Apparently it is WF policy to check ID s (in spite of being 62 years old). No problem, I get that part. The checker may have been underage and was waiting for a manager to check my ID. The manager was having what appeared to be a private conversation with someone a few feet away while I waited minutes. I interrupted her to ask if she could check my ID so I could check out and leave. She said I 'm in the middle of a conversation and acted put out that she had to carry out the store 's policy of checking all ID s. ! No apology, nothing. If every time someone purchases alcohol, I can 't believe this may play out.
Let me begin by informing you I'm 67 years old. I went to Whole Foods Danada to purchase food items and beer for a BBQ for my daughter and her family. Upon trying to check out in the self service area a staff member came as I had beer. Understood. However, as my license was in my car I didn't have ID on me. So, she refused the sale!!! Again, I am 67. I asked to see her supervisor. He stood ground with her. I couldn't believe it. He stated it's a State Law to ID everyone. As a former Wine Spirits Distributor Representative I knew this was not true. So, I asked to see his supervisor. He gave me a name of Bill and a phone number. I called the number and it was the store number and Bill wasn't in of course. Know I would have gone to my car to get my license but it was pouring rain and I had no umbrella. The supervisor ordered the clerk to put the beers back into inventory. I asked when does common sense come into play here??
