For The Love Of Pierogies - Wheeling

Went in to see what they had. Bought fresh homemade pasta and desert. Wonderful person that was worker wrote a sauce recipe down for me and talked me thru it. Had some small talk. Looking forward to a return to try something else. Dinner than night was awesome.

Did everyone have the same pierogis we did? We were super disappointed. Lovely staff, but the pierogis? Frozen, mass produced and almost zero flavor to them. We tried a couple of flavors and they all tasted exactly the same. And don’t get me started on the teeny tiny diced onions. Not what you would expect from a place that is supposed to love pierogis. The pierogis were amazing and the sauerkraut was excellent!!! (Even the pickle that came with our meal was delicious)

If only I could give more stars.....Everything was PERFECT!!!!!!!! The food, to die for!!! The service, TOP NOTCH!!!!

Kielbasa sandwiches from the heavens, huge homemade perogies, and dessert? 100% yes. For the Love of Perogies is a local favorite made with love. It exceeded my expectations and I can not wait to have a chance to go back! The portions are HUGE and the price is fair, if you have the chance, TRY IT! ️
