Brooklin has one of the best spots in town. Chef Melissa is truly outstanding. Don't miss out on the truffle popcorn - it's a must-try that I can't stop dreaming about. The menu features locally sourced ingredients and changes frequently. Every dish I've sampled has been exceptional. They also have a selection of excellent craft beers on tap.

I always look forward to Sunday brunch at the bistro with my church family. It is a welcoming environment with hot, full coffees and delicious plates. Our group continues to grow each week.

Best food in Durham Region with service to match. I am a returning customer and each time I sit down I am even more impressed than the last visit. The ambiance is like nowhere else in all of Durham Region; such a beautiful building! The professional yet personal staff make me feel very warm and welcome each time. On top of all of that the food is delicious and consistent for a very fair price.<br/ <br/ Congratulations 1847 for finally providing what Durham Region has needed!

Very impressive. We went in a group of 6 last night. Great atmosphere. Staff were excellent. Food is very fresh with seasonal and local ingredients. Between the 6 of us, we were able to try a little bit of everything. No dish was a disapointment. Apps were remarkable. Mains were delicious. Will totally go back many times.

Exceptional Atmosphere and Dining Experience. 1847 Bistro is an all around, perfect dining experience. My husband and I got married at the bistro a couple weeks ago and all the guests are still raving about spectacular everything was, some of them have already been back for dinner! It was a perfect spot to have an intimate family event.They have created an ambiance in the restaurant that makes you want to return for every meal! Everyone at the bistro was so friendly and accommodating, we couldn't have been happier. Chef Rob and Pastry Chef Janine did a fabulous job, the food was divine. I can not say enough about have amazing the food was. Service was awesome, they were very attentive making sure everyone was happy and the guests had everything they needed. We certainly will be returning for many more fabulous meals !!
