A&w Canada - Whitby

The food is good but the drive thru is ridiculously slow. (Writing this review currently 15 minutes into my wait in the drive thru, lol)

The food was delicious. The staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant was clean. And best of all, there was a handwashing station! We will be back! Especially for the frosted mug of root beer!

The onion rings were inedible. They looked disgusting and were way over salted. I had 3 orders. My wife, my grandson and myself couldn't eat them. Like the other review said, there is a couple of kids running this place. I emailed head office because I wanted them to look into this and I threw out 15 bucks worth of food. They emailed me and said I could enjoy a free teen burger combo on them if I go back to the store with the email and identification. I emailed back and said first of all it won't be free because I am out 15 bucks and I ain't going to the store with the email and my identification. I said i would like them to send me a gift card or coupons to cover my lost. They basically said we don't do that and couldn't help me anymore. This happened a couple of months ago and I haven't went back since despite liking a&w hamburgers. Customer service don't exist anymore.

Ordered an Uncle Burger, the burger had 1/4 of mayonnaise on it. I couldn 't hold onto it, kept slipping out of my hands, the bun was really wet and soggy. I don 't know what the problem was but I won 't be back. My friend also ordered a Mama burger, the order was wrong. More training required at this store. We usually enjoy your burgers not today. Very disappointed.

Ordered the beyond meat with the sweet potato fries mobile coupon add on. Fries were still raw and uncooked. Otherwise staff was very friendly and helpful. Burger seemed a bit dryer then normal, but overall great food and experience. I hope this is a one off experience.
