Brothers Restaurant - Whitby

The food was just awesome. Everything - even the bread - is made their. Delicius & great meals. The staff is awesome too. They always have a smile and are nice too if your english isn't perfect. I recommand this place !!

We really like Brothers . The food has always been good. The menu is pretty diverse and the atmosphere is good. Yes. A little crowded but good. The guys had the special, which was a filet mignon and it was excellent. I had the salmon - also excellent. Our other friend had spaghetti, which she orders every time and she loves it. Our server was rather inattentive and we had a hard time getting a second drink and yes, cutlery. But she was pleasant when she was around. The only negative was the large party of 10 that sat behind us who were out of control noisy. Yelling. Screaming. We couldn't hear each other over their noise. They're kids were screaming and running around the restaurant and one was standing on the table at one point. Honestly. Management should have asked them to tone it down. It kind of wrecked our evening

I was at Brothers in June of 2017 with about 10-12 other people to celebrate a birthday for someone in my family. The atmosphere is okay, not very private but it did the trick - service was good, and the food did not take too long to come out, also to note the Caesar (drink) I had was amazing. Now, the most upsetting part of the whole experience had to be the food. The food for not just myself, but also the younger kids who were at the table and some of the other adults was just not what you would expect when paying mid-range to high prices for a quite gross meal. To start I had the Caprese salad which wasnt bad actually, the tomatoes were very cold and the salad underneath did not do much for me but it was truly the pizza where things went downhill. For an Italian style pizza, I got the neopolitan which you would think is a light pizza, the dough was way too much, sauce tasted like from a can, and there was no basil on the pizza just tons of cheese, which usually I love lots of cheese but this was greasy and not appetizing. My grandfather almost choked on his veal it was so tough and had to send it back. The kids meals were just average nothing had any flavor and tasted store-bought - overall this is not somewhere I would recommend for a family outing or even to have italian food.

We recommended Brothers to our friends who were taking us out for dinner. It was a wonderful evening and they are still raving about how great the steak and food was. Chris was charming and our waitress was delightful Wouldn't hesitate to go back again soon

Not fancy but good food, large portions at reasonable prices. Pasta and other Canadian influenced Italian dishes. A selection of craft beers on draught. Recommended.
