Charley Ronick's Pub & Restaurant

We visited twice in the last two weeks and love this place. Extensive menu, great food, good service and excellent prices. Both times my hubby had the wings but this last visit I had the tapas bar which salad, bruschetta, coconut shrimp, onion rings and crab cakes. More than enough for lunch for one person. We will definitely be returning

We went here on a Sat. evening around 5 pm for the first time. When we arrived, it was very busy and we seated ourselves (it was a bit awkward as there was no signage as to if you were to wait or to seat yourself.) The place is pretty small but it was clean. Service was fast and attentive. Food was hot, delicious, large orders and very reasonable! They have daily food and drink specials. There are lots of big screen t.v.s and it did get a bit louder when the music was on. The menu has choices of burgers, wraps,soups salads, etc. I think there are choices there for everyone. We'd definitely return.

We got there just after the rush but were still greeted and seated promptly.Great price on wings on a Monday night and a very good price on pints. . The server was very friendly and efficient. The order come out quickly and everything was delicious. They have an extensive menu , so if your in the area stop in . You won't be disappoited.

This being our local pub, we used to walk to it all the time to have a cold drink, some decent food, a little chat, and then make our way back home. We have not been visiting as often, and will not, as we found out again stopping in on our way home from an outing in Toronto. While the beer is still nice and cold, the food is just so so, and sometimes not very good at all. There is no sense thinking that you can sit and have a quiet beer, as what seems like the same crowd of regulars are always sitting up by and around the bar, basically yelling over each other all the time. With it being a small bar to start with, the constant braying and X level language coming from them makes for an irritating atmosphere.

This was a number one place to go to! Now I will avoid like SARS! Waitress was having a bad day! Man she was just like we were bothering her! We ordered and as we order my wife asked for some extra cheese for her fajitas. Normal she subs her tomatoes for cheese and normally not a problem but yeah extra charge! Fine. And then when food came out a bit longer with a non packed place my wife asked for some hot sauces! Another charge! Like hot sauce is a must for fajitas, understandable for cheese but hot sauce? We're aren't asking for a bottle. At the end of the meal the waitress was a bit warmer but with the attitude at the beginning our experience of the place has just drove us away! The food was good the extras aren't! The attitude needs to be left at the door unfortunately
