Eggsmart - Whitby

As other reviews have noted, the food was completely bland. I ordered the Baja benedict and added peameal for an extra $5. The hollandaise sauce was like a paste, and the meat was so overcooked it must have come from the oldest pig on the farm. To top it off, the chef drizzled hot sauce on my benedict. I enjoy spicy food, but the menu didn't mention any hot sauce, and I would have asked for it to be left off since I only like certain kinds. Also, the cilantro was missing altogether. The only thing I ended up eating was the avocado after scraping off the hollandaise. The server was very apologetic, and I felt bad for him, but the restaurant definitely should have comped my meal. It was not acceptable to pay $40 for my husband's simple breakfast of two eggs, bacon, a ginger ale, and a side of avocado. I won't be coming back. Save your money!

The restaurant is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The food is truly outstanding. I highly recommend it!

Such a disgusting place, we will never come back. Pancakes were undercooked and doughy not fluffy as you'd expect. There was a bad aftertaste to it and the waffles. Their pancake syrup tastes like nothing, literally...seems like it's highly diluted and there's an aftertaste of tea leaves in the food. They have zero customer service skills. If you want a pleasant experience, don't come to this location

Home fries tasted stale and not very fresh. The eggs came out oily (requested over easy) waiter wasn't very polite and didn't say very much. Ordered water to drink and it was Luke warm tap water. Meal was overall very underwhelming.Waiter did not check in with us during the meal and instead sat in the corner on a laptop.Spotted some bugs walking around on the floor in the resturant but they may have come in from outside.Better breakfast places in the area.
