Lion & Unicorn Bar & Grill - Whitby

The food is good; however the restaurant is very cold in fall/winter/spring and the staff didn't seem to have the ability to do anything about it. Was hoping for more after their recent renovation. Seems like they survive on regulars at the bar.On a positive note the food is prepared quickly and they are never busy. Staff are friendly. The owner is a very kind gentleman who means well and supports local youth sports teams.

What a dump. I went here this week to get dinner with my family before we had another function in Whitby to attend. Looks like it needs a Bar Rescue tv crew to ambush this place. It is in dire need of an update. Waitress was kind and efficient. Too bad she is stuck at this dump. We ordered appetizers; spinach dip, fries and wings. TERRIBLE. Spinach dip was lukewarm and seemed as it was microwaved. Pitas were burnt. Wings (which i did not eat) looked gross. Will not go back. Service was quick because no one was in there.

Ordered perogies. 13 bucks. 5 perogies and a ceaser salad. Doesn't taste like anything. It's dank and weird in here.
