This Whitby location is the Head Office, not a restaurant at all!
When ordering through Uber Eats at this location there was no section to request extra gravy and cheese curds. Knowing that curds and gravy cost extra I ordered an extra bottle of water for $2.99 and put in the comments to please replace the water with the above. When I received my order I found attached a condescending note from one of your employees saying “Extra curds cost $2.30 and extra gravy costs $1.30. There IS definitely an add-on section. Poutine (put in the effort.” To make up for the extra 60 cents they also didn’t add to the delivery my Diet Coke which cost $2.99, therefore ripping me off. Next time prior to writing a rude note to a customer, I suggest you too “poutine the effort” and check the so called “add-on section” because it’s definitely NOT there. :
Ate here because a Canadian co worker said this was the best poutine can’t compare to others, since this was my first time having a poutine, but if they get better than what I had, you won’t be disappointed. Don’t tell your doctor you are having this concoction of fries, gravy, cheese curds, and in my case, added steak (like you would find on a cheesesteak). Savory and delicious, you’ll likely be adding this to your list of guilty pleasures.
I knew this place was near the hotel(the grand) and we decided to try it for a snack at lunch. The menu was extensive and made it difficult for people to choose. I went for the bacon and it was excellent. my wife went for original poutine and was happy with that. Our friends went for chicken ranch and Philly steak, i wish i was hungrier as i struggled to finish mine. This was the best poutine i had in Canada, i would definitely return. i would even make a b line to a smokes if i get chance. Please start opening shops in the UK
