The Black Horse - Whitby

Great traditional pub with a good selection of beer and ale. The service was brilliant as it was table service, never went long with an empty pint glass. Well worth a stop in.

First class pub. Worth a visit if you are in Whitby. Two minor points of criticism: the beer was ridiculously expensive: Old Peculier £6.00 per pint. 400 metres away- £4.50. And it was slightly too cold. Still a lovely pub.

Super pub, my fav in Whitby. Wonderful warm atmosphere, staff are lovely, paying great attention to wiping down surfaces, best pub toilets in Whitby. Tried many of the tapa dishes/bar snacks. Great selection of cocktails.

A delightful, classic English pub at the heart of a charming coastal town. Simple, delicious pub fare, excellent ales and ciders, and all the local color you could ask for.

Visited Whitby many times and this is one of our must visit pubs. Dog friendly, great snacks and excellent beer selection. Staff all very friendly.
