Nice enough place, friendly staff and a good range of tapas, some of which are vegan such as the grilled rustic bread topped with tomato, garlic and olive oil, patata bravas, bombay potatoes and garlic and rosemary roast potatoes, vegetable tempura and possibly the mushroom risotto. Also if you pop down to the toilets there’s some interesting blitz themed grafitti to keep you entertained. There might even still be a Happy Cow sticker too.
There are vegan options that have been cooked from the scavenger. friendly staff, but no vegetable milk for hot drinks. but no vegan sites.
The vegan options were very bad. we fought to get somewhere else, and I wish we hadn't bothered. the waiting staff had no knowledge of what was or could be made vegan. if a waitress said they don't want to have vegan options, but then added that they had vegetarian friends. only one night.
I went to the caffe after I saw that they might be on vegan, but they were really not terrible helpful. I was after a decent brunch and the waiters didn't really know what they could offer. So, fair enough! I went to Sanders yard instead.
