The Hatless Heron - Whitby

I decided to stop by this restaurant because I was attracted to the ambiance and the menu offerings. The prices were also reasonable. I ordered the chicken in white wine and garlic sauce with tagliatelle. The sauce was delicious and the pasta was good, but the chicken was a bit tough, which was disappointing. The service was friendly and the speed of service was decent, although I had to wait a while to pay. I may consider coming back again in the future. (Visited April 2013)

Stopped in here for a couple of coffees. Seems like a nice place, but room was a bit small and didn't really encourage us to linger. Bit noisy (not from conversation) and perhaps too cramped.

Food was nice, service was ok, really needs a kids menu.

This restaurant is absolutely wonderful. They offer delicious paninis and snacks for lunch, and in the evening they serve fantastic meals. The portion sizes are generous as well.
