Tumbulgum Park - Whitby

Went to go here the other week for a lunch, so we thought that we would check on-line to make sure it was open. The website was under construction and had no information in it, so we decide to ring, only got an answering machine. Several attempts to get a hold of them resulted in nothing. Checked on google, which said that it is open. Decided to risk it and make the drive out to the park but once we got there we found that it was fenced off and closed down. It was a bit of a waste of a trip since the park is a long way from anywhere.

We had dinner here last night and it was awesome. Our waitress was fantastic and the meals came out quickly. We had the tasting plates for both entree and desserts - 2 each of the plates between 7 of us was perfect. All our mains were beautiful and perfectly cooked. Can absolutely recommend Tumbulgum Park

The worst venue to have your wedding at!!!The owner clearly has no skills in maintaining and running what should be beautiful place to have a wedding. Groom put a $4k tab behind the bar and this was gone in 3 hrs. Charging guests $8.50/beer is ridiculous, its a WEDDING not a PUB!! There should like most venues have a drinks package which normally entail 6hrs of drinks!! She was rude, obnoxious, no empathy towards the bride and groom on what should be a very happy and memorable day! Do not have a wedding here unless you would like a dirty venue, be ripped off and treated like dirt... We were so disgusted we wont be recommending this place to any one. Its a good thing they have no clear signage to find the place its more convenient to drive past it.

I went there for lunch and a coffee. I didn't know what to expect was blown away by the quality of the food and service And the tranquil setting of the restaurant overlooking the dam with ducks and kangaroos, it was so relaxing I sat there for a couple of hours! . The owners also run a farm for old retired horses and to see these beautiful old animals relaxing in the rolling paddocks as you look out towards the ocean was beautiful. The function room area is also beautiful and I could imagine having a lovely wedding there. I highly recommend going there for a meal or just a coffee. Lin and her family are such lovely kind,genuine, generous people who really made us feel welcome and looked after. The meals are very affordable too for those people on a budget. I look forward to taking more friends there for the Sunday sessions,afternoon tea or a meal. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Went to Tumbulgum Park to see what they had on offer as hadn't been in quite a few years. Still a very beautiful setting. Food was lovely as was the huge cappuccino we received. The staff/owners are lovely people, very friendly. Haven't been to the Sunday session there, but the venue would be great for this. If I want to have a function anywhere I would certainly look at this place. Also love the fact that the park is also a "retirement place" for old horses. Good luck and hope this place remains open for many, many years to come.
