Bedford Village Inn

Went there for a function. The Inn and the grounds were very nice. The staff was very polite and professional. The food was good, but some of it was just too salty.

Beautiful, clean, perfect for a romantic night away. Ate in the tavern food and service was excellent. Would definitely go back.

We were there for a wedding. Some of us stayed in the barn where the function hall is, but most people stayed in the main hotel. The food was outstanding. The service of the reception was excellent. The brunch in the tavern for the guests was mediocre. Rather disappointing, actually. My biggest suggestion to the management of this location is that they need to take another look at their accessibility. It was a real struggle to get someone in a wheelchair around the property. Access to the barn was difficult at best. Going from the front door of the barn to the main hotel involved a rather rickety asphalt sidewalk that was a significant uphill grade. There were crevices and potholes that made that even more treacherous. The room in the hotel where my 88-year-old mother was staying was very nice, but it was not well equipped for an 88-year-old. The beds are high. So my mother reported that it took her 20 minutes to get into bed the first night. Also, they need to rethink the grab bars in the bathrooms. There were no grab bars by the toilet, nor in the shower. It was a beautiful shower, but it could really use some grab bars. The shower in the rooms in the barn had grab bars. But no grab bars by the toilets. So overall very good. Some aspects were outstanding. A couple aspects need some work. Everyone had an outstanding time and the wedding and the reception were great fun.

Had our wedding here on a Monday. The venue was amazing and staff great. Everyone was very friendly and assisted when needed. They made sure everything was setup for the ceremony and dinner. At the after dinner the wait staff was great. Both Ashley and Jacob were extremely outgoing and helpful. Jacob especially was friendly and was a pleasure to deal with. He acted more as a friend than just a server. Overall experience was great and will definitely recommend and return for dinners.
