Vegan East - White Bear Lake

When I was dairy free, this place was a life saver! Good cinnamon rolls and pop tarts! With their cake, the frosting wasn't the best (possibly shortening base? . I would prefer icing that was made with vegan butter.

Vegan East has only been open for a few weeks now, but they have been an incredible addition to the White Bear Lake community. They offer quite a variety, super friendly staff, and even gluten-free vegan options!

Crowds came out to support the Grand Opening of Vegan East! When I arrived at 11:00- the bakery case had been picked clean except for a tray of Chocolate Chip Cookies. They staff was bustling to refill the case! These cookies are delicious! Chewy and Chocolate chippy! I’ll be back to try the other tasty treats!

I'm so happy to have found Sheila and her amazing cupcakes! The frosting is like buttercream, and I've enjoyed every flavor I've tried. None of them have been overly sweet or sugary, and they're always moist and fresh. The Peanut Butter Chocolate is probably my favorite it has just the right blend of peanut butter and chocolate. I would recommend Vegan East to anyone.

I have tried some different cake flavor and pop tart and everything is exquisite! I think the pop darts taste like donuts, the variety of cake flavors are all delicious, and they even have the Day Old Club, which is such a great and careful program. Updated by previous review on 2022-09-18
