The Human Bean - White City

I visited the restaurant today at 7:35 AM, and while the blonde staff member took my cash, she informed me that she couldn't scan my app as she had already processed the transaction. I explained that it was a cash payment and suggested that she could simply redo the transaction, but she declined to do so. I'm disappointed with the customer service I received and frustrated that she either wasn't adequately trained or lacked proper work ethics.

It seems like they have a troubling practice of charging more to justify a workforce that demands higher pay while providing less attentive service. If employees want to earn more, they should focus on doing a quality job. After all, hitting a button on a blender doesn't warrant an extra $3, and I shouldn't have to shoulder that cost due to a lack of attention to detail from the staff.

In my opinion, The Human Bean is the top coffee spot in the area. The coffee is excellent, and the staff are very friendly. I especially enjoy the chocolate-covered coffee beans!

Consistently great drinks, food, and service! The staff is genuinely happy to serve you and have great attitudes! The location is perfect!

Friendly service every time! Just wish I could tip from my card because I never have cash on hand.
